Marathon PR: 2:45, St. George 2007

Half-marathon PR: 1:21, Moab 2007

Recent races: St. George Marathon, Olympic Trials Marathon, Moab 5 miler. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run faster. I'd like to win a race or two. I want to smarter and harder and increase my mileage without increasing my injuries. 

I'd also like to keep up with this and my other blog. You can check it out at novicexpert.blogspot.com. I don't keep track of my workouts there (just random thoughts on running), so the two don't really interfere.  

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to win at least one marathon, make a better showing at the next Olympic Trials, try a few ultra-marathons and finish a 100-miler.

Personal:

I lead a simple life. I teach a couple of times a week and run. A lot. I also climb and ski (both snow and water) whenever I get a chance.  I think I'm addicted to sunshine.

Hey Lisa, back and running, eh? I assume you were out for an injury for a while? Are these all running miles, or pool miles? I am up to running 3 miles/day--sweet. (period instead of an exclamation mark for your sake-I wouldn't have yelled the "sweet")

yeah, injury injury injury. these are real miles now. i was on the bike/running for most of the summer but now don't have the time (hence the drop in miles). body is still upset but for different reasons. i'm on my feet most all day and struggling w/ it. but, i'll come around eventually. how's your running? slowly but surely coming back
