Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run faster. I'd like to win a race or two. I want to smarter and harder and increase my mileage without increasing my injuries.

I'd also like to keep up with this and my other blog. You can check it out at novicexpert.blogspot.com. I don't keep track of my workouts there (just random thoughts on running), so the two don't really interfere.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to win at least one marathon, make a better showing at the next Olympic Trials, try a few ultra-marathons and finish a 100-miler.

Personal:

I lead a simple life. I teach a couple of times a week and run. A lot. I also climb and ski (both snow and water) whenever I get a chance.  I think I'm addicted to sunshine.

well, that's half a day's workout. will run more later and more tomorrow but i'm off to st george and i don't think we have wireless at the condo yet so i doubt i'll post again 'til tomorrow night. i expect that i'll run abou 100.

we're going down for a race. i'll run my sister's pace as i've got the moab half marathon next weekend and i don't want to have a hard time recovering from pushing hard this weekend (mostly i'm supersticious about a 10k and then half marathon two wks in a row). and i can't run a race not at full pace unless i'm purposely running with someone else and refuse to cross the finish line etc etc.

will also stop by the st george runnng center probably. wahoo!

ran w. my sister later. super dehydrated. not good

Have fun in St. Geo, and have a good Moab race too. Any goals for Moab?
